Another important factor is noise. Some keyboards are loud, which can be distracting for both your child and anyone else in the room. Quiet, membrane-style keys are usually the best choice for young kids. You might also want one with fun features like lights or animal sounds to keep them engaged, but don’t let gimmicks overshadow the basics—functionality should come first. Stick to reputable brands that make products specifically for kids, and you’ll save yourself a lot of headaches.
